This weekend will be a busy weekend as I’ll be covering this year’s AFROPUNK Festival at the Greenpoint Terminal Market in a collaborative effort between JOVM and Musicology.xyz. But if you know me well, you know that I try my best to ensure that the show must go as much as it could while covering festivals and while traveling . . .
Last week, I was at Elsewhere Zone One for the first time in a while to catch JOVM mainstay Blak Emoji play a headlining set. Young whippersnappers Control The Sound and Nick Vivid opened. I managed to get there from Union Pool’s Summer Thunder and had caught this image of Zone One’s disco ball.
