This weekend will be a busy weekend as I’ll be covering this year’s AFROPUNK Festival at the Greenpoint Terminal Market in a collaborative effort between JOVM and Musicology.xyz. But if you know me well, you know that I try my best to ensure that the show must go as much as it could while covering festivals and while traveling . . .
Last week was a busy week that involved shooting a handful of shows across the city including a show at The Footlight Underground at The Windjammer that featured Tula Vera, Connor McLaren, and Little Cliff among others. If you’ve been frequenting this site for a while, you’d know that I have obsessions with neon and disco balls. I mean you can’t be a serious music venue without a disco ball, can you? I’d say no.
