Last week, I stopped in Union Square Park to see Confront Art‘s gorgeous and moving installation SEEINJUSTICE. After that, I walked east to Second Avenue and started walking south to East Houston Street.
There was a specific reason for that: I wanted to see what remained of Middle Collegiate Church after it had burned down earlier this year. It was a gorgeous building to pass by anytime I was in the neighborhood and seeing it condemned is heartbreaking. `
