Caption: This mural has been up since the pandemic and was dedicated to healthcare records — especially those are nearby Elmhurst Hospital. But in the aftermath, it seems extremely cynical and phony to me. We had people arguing over masks and vaccines while people were dying fairly preventable deaths.

Caption: Shadows, lines and curves. There’s a narrow walkway between Queens Place Mall and a Citibank branch and it creates this image, which caught my eye.

Caption: Many late nights were spent at the Georgia Diner. When it was around 54th Avenue, this sign was a bit of a beacon. You never knew when you needed a good breakfast — or 22 cups of coffee.

A few weeks ago, I was feeling a bit restless and just desperately needed to get out of my apartment to do — well, just about anything, really. So I took my cameras — my Canon R6 and my Canon 6D Mark II — and went for a walk through my neighborhood.
