Wednesday night, I was at SummerStage to catch a long night of funk headlined by the legendary George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic.(More on that later, of course.) As it turns out, the New York Philharmonic had a show at the nearby Great Lawn — and they ended their show with a fireworks display, which we could see from our vantage point, just a little bit east.
