I was in Washington Square Park for a free, all-ages Showbrain Presents showcase that featured local acts BODEGA, Native Sun, TVOD and New Haven-based outfit T!LT. More on that later.
As I was walking to the subway, these flowers caught my eye. I just loved their color. And it was a small reminder that although things are very shitty both in the larger world and in my personal and professional lives, there are still some small moments of beauty — if you pay attention.
