Call me a bit old fashioned on occasion, but I enjoy life’s small pleasures. Perhaps even more so when the world is dangerously inching towards mutually assured destruction. For me, you can’t make a trip to Coney Island without stopping at Nathan’s Famous. Hot dogs, bacon cheese fries and a large, cold Coney Island Mermaid Pilsner just made my entire day — a very fun one, I should add — even better. Happiness, indeed.
