Photography: Kosciuszko Bridge and Silvercup Studios 4/14/21

Over the last few months, I’ve had a routine of eating breakfast and having a couple of cups of coffee with my mom while checking emails and watching the news. At some point, we heard about poor Duante Wright in Brooklyn Center, MN, and it was so upsetting that it made work seem difficult and profound stupidly. At some point, a friend of mine offered to give me a ride to get out of the house. We didn’t know what exactly we wanted to do or where we wanted to go but it wound up being a short trip to take photos in Long Island City and in Williamsburg — in particular, the new Kosciuszko Bridge and the Silvercup Studios sign (which I’ve wanted to have for a long time.) Check out some photos below.

Caption: Kosciuzsko Bridge at night. These photos of the bridge were taken in a closed truck parking lot/industrial area near the bridge — and a power plant of some sort. It was creepy but the pictures were absolutely worth it.
