I was invited to an open mic/showcase hosted at a gorgeous and very new yoga center in Bed-Stuy by an artist I’ve written about on this site. After hanging out with her, her husband and their two friends at a nearby bar, I looked at Transit App and saw that a Greenpoint-bound B43 was stopping nearby.
I walked the two blocks or so to wait for a bus. But the bus went right past me as though I wasn’t there. It was frigid and I just couldn’t wait 40 minutes for another bus. So, I took the 20 minute walk over to the Bedford Avenue-Nostrand Avenue G station, when I came across this piece of graffiti that simply read “Love Is A Verb.” Indeed, it is, y’all.
