Photography: Lufthansa Over Jamaica Bay 5/31/25
On one side of Broad Channel, you can catch folks parasailing. The other side faces JFK International. While standing on the shores of Jamaica Bay, I caught this Lufthansa Airlines plane as it took off, banked left and headed a bit south, before ascending into the sky.
I miss the road. I miss seeing both old and new places — sometimes with different eyes. And seeing that airplane, reminded me so much of that.
