Malartic, QC 9/7/26: We had an early morning bus ride back to Montréal. The first stop was a brief one, at a mine in nearby Malartic. Climb up about 100 stairs — at this point it felt like 400 to me — and you’ll get a view of the entire mine operation, a deep, jagged scar in the Earth. The water below an odd silvery green color.
