I was invited to a small and very intimate networking event at Studio Bocce in Greenpoint. The natural light in the studio is just warm and downright gorgeous. And they have an enviable view of Manhattan from their windows and from their rooftop. I was briefly reminded of the countless rooftop parties in Bushwick I attended in my 20s and early 30s— a very different New York, indeed.

The couple who run the studio were very lovely and the folks I met were, too. Somehow, everywhere I’ve been in the world, I run into someone from Queens. The world’s borough, indeed.

But I mean that view, y’all. Goodness!
