My pal Steve emcees a monthly soul music party called Soul Soul Soul. This month, the party was at its (hopefully) permanent home, La Oficina. As I got a beer, I noticed a coaster that read “You’re thinking about pregnant birds.” I was immediately confused.
The bartender flung a coaster that read “Estás pensando en pajaritos preňa’os.” He told me it was an idiomatic expression. Indeed.,
