Photography: Mets-Willets Point Station, Flushing Meadows-Corona Park 6/28/22

Late last month, a dear friend of mine purchased a DSLR camera — her first! — and naturally, she wanted to begin playing with it and getting to know it. So we went to Flushing Meadows-Corona Park for an afternoon of shooting with some tutoring and advice here and there.

Of course, I had my Canon 6D Mark II, because I was going to take some shots as well. Might as well, right?

We had walked through Gotham Plaza and up the ramp towards Citi Field to take photos of the train yard. My friend loves train yards. I was transfixed by how the sky looked over us. Plus, well, trains.
