Last night, I was at SummerStage to catch a long night of funk headlined by the legendary George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic.(More on that later, of course.) But as I was walking to the 68th Street and Lexington Avenue 6 train, I found myself kind of transfixed by Neil’s Coffee Shop’s neon sign, which I’ve seen countless times before — but for some reason never photographed.
