Last Sunday and most of this past week had been a real tease of what summer will be: Sunday afternoon it was 87º with cerulean blue skies and a lovely breeze. And because we’ve had an unusually cool early May, people were outside, y’all!

I didn’t want to waste a beautiful day, so I went for a walk with my Canon R6 Mark II in hand that ended at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park‘s Meadow Lake. As I was walking to Meadow Lake, I took some photos of a landmark I’ve long been obsessed with: the New York State Pavilion.
