Photography: NYC Pride March 6/30/24
I closed out a very busy June with an afternoon photographing the NYC Pride March — the granddaddy of all Pride Marches. Roughly two million people participate and/or attend it every year. And it doesn’t matter whether it’s snowing, raining or swelteringly hot, people will show up to celebrate themselves — and show that they’re allies and friends.
Honestly, it’s one of the best events in the entire calendar. The parade tends to bring out the best of us. Plus, the outfits! It’s a fun afternoon. I took photos of my fellow New Yorkers throughout the day. Check out photos below.
