Photography: O, Canada/Tim Horton’s

You know you’re in Canada when . . .

From the hotel to the festival’s main stage and Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Noranda or Cabaret de la Derniere Chance, I’d pass by this Tim Horton’s, which was about a block and half around the corner. At Tim’s, I’d make a right and continue walking down Rue 9eime for a while, until I got to Avenue Murdock. At Avenue Murdock, i’d make another right to Rue 7eime, where I’d make a left. Late at night, walking back Rouyn-Noranda’s sleepy streets, Tim’s was a familiar beacon that said, “Sir, you’ll be able to melt into your bed real soon.”

Thanks Tim Horton‘s. I was able to not use Google Maps about a day-and-a-half in.
