Photography: Queens Pride 6/1/25

Since its inception, Queens Pride promotes the visibility and accomplishments of the LGQBT+ community and to foster acceptance by the many cultures and religions represented across Queens. 2025 marked my second year attending the event, and not only does it offer a fair representation of the diversity of Queens, in particular, Jackson Heights, it’s a joyous, raucous affair, full of some of the friendliest, kindest people in the city.

True story: I got invited on to a float. Those same people offered me a beer. I happily obliged to both. And if you met whoever you encountered with kindness and empathy, it was almost always returned back to you. What a tremendous fun afternoon! Check out photos below.
