Yesterday, I was at the Queens Museum for the fifth Queens Rising launch event. It was good to run into some familiar faces while supporting local arts and local artists. This reminds me: Support your local arts scenes and artists — including music, y’all. If you have the money, buy art, buy merch, buy tickets to shows, give to their Patreon or whatever they have set up. If you’re struggling, (and a lot of folks are out there) share social media posts with friends and family, who could be potential supporters.
It was a lovely spring morning that began to feel a bit like late May. I wasn’t in a rush, so I took a bunch of shots with my Canon R6 Mark II.
