While JOVM was on hiatus, I filled up a portion of my time on long walks with my Canon R6 Mark II. Other than posting on Instagram, I had no idea what I’d actually do with the photos. But often what matters is getting out there and having something to do — and having some time to quiet my mind.

So, I took a walk through nearby Rego Park with the attention of making whatever images I took come off like a disconnected, eerie dream, influenced by the album I was listening to at the time, Yoo Doo Right‘s From the Heights of Our Pastureland.
