Last weekend, Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage hosted two shows at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park: DJ Rekha’s Basement Bangra Beyond with Rashmeet Kaur, DJ Rekha, Tara Lily and Sonny Singh and Guests and The Roots with DJ Scratch.
I had been approved to be cover both shows. So Saturday night, after shooting Rashmeet Kaur’s set, I walked around and noticed Rocket Thrower in silhouette in front of the brightly lit Unisphere.
