I walked from Fadó Irish Pub across town to the Asian Arts Initiative‘s office, passing by the side of the legendary Sigma Sound Studios, where David Bowie once recorded Young Americans, The O’Jays recorded Backstabbers and so many important and beloved albums were recorded.
I took a picture of the sign and the building, earlier this year when I was in town for the first edition of Asian Arts Initiative’s Sound Type Music Festival and Music Writers Workshop. And it felt a bit like a full circle moment to have a picture at the end of the program.
