Photography: Springtime in Quarantined New York Part 14
Last Wednesday was my mom’s second of her third chemotherapy appointments at Mount Sinai. Because of COVID-19, I couldn’t be there with her, but the staff at Mount Sinai have been kind and attentive — and it’s eased my worries quite a bit. Mom’s appointments take up most of the day, so I wound up wandering around town. So the last edition of the Springtime in Quarantined New York series had me heading through the Lower East Side, where I caught some power Black Lives Matter and George Floyd murals; to Domino Park in Williamsburg, a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, and a brief stop in the Financial District for lunch at Tacombi.
