The other day, I was desperate to get out of my apartment; but I didn’t have a clear idea on where I wanted to go. Eventually, along with a dear friend, I wound up in Brooklyn Bridge Park on a very lovely afternoon taking photos.

We were walking back towards my friend’s car, when we came across The Dumbo Station, a seasonal beer and wine concession stand in Dumbo Archway that was modeled after the Manhattan Bridge Three Cent Line, the first trolley service that began operations on the bridge in 1910. The Trolley was designed to pay homage to Brooklyn’s rich rail history and was recreated with reclaimed wood from over 20 water towers across Brooklyn.

Sadly, when we had passed by, it was closed. But I’d love to stop by again.
