The other day, I was feeling restless and bored. So I took my Canon R6 Mark II, fired up the Yankees vs. Mets game on MLB At Bat and went for a walk.
Sometimes, I’ll see something completely I hadn’t seen before that captures my eye. Every now and then, I’ll want to capture something with new gear — because why not?
I walked to Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, which was filled with Guatemalas, Colombians, Argentines, Brazilians, Punjabis and on and on, playing soccer, volleyball and cooking. Goodness, all the smells! The sounds of kids and adults laughing. Occasionally, you’ll see a couple stealing a romantic moment or two. It was lovely.
So I wound up at the Unisphere, where I took a quick, mixtape/album cover-like selfie.
