That winter came quickly and it never ended
Snow covers everything, outlines blur
I told myself, to hold on
What’s underneath will eventually come out
I lost direction of where I was
Slapped away the truth even though it was obvious
Finally when it thawed for a few days
And the snow melted away, there was nothing left

The first blizzard in New York in about a decade. I decided to head to Forest Park with my Canon R6 Mark II. But first, my walk from my apartment to the 63rd Drive M and R station for a Forest Hills-bound train.

The lack of people out was a bit surreal and reminded me a bit of life during the pandemic. And yet it was peaceful.
