Photography: Zuccotti Park 12/27/25
Before heading to my friends’ place on Water Street, I went on a good hour and a half or so photo walk. There’s something about being in the city during the holiday season that’s really magical to me.
Now while it’s been something of an annual tradition for me, I’ve photographed these locations with different cameras — a Canon 77D, a Canon 6D Mark II and now a Canon R6 Mark II — and every camera is different, as though they have different personalities. Each time, the conditions are a bit different: Once I was rushing because I was running late. Other times I’ve had more time to linger. And in this case, the park seemed more like an enchanting dream . . .
