Earlier tonight, I was at Herbert Von King Park in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn to catch a Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage showcase paying tribute to J. Dilla that — appropriately — featured The Pharcyde, DJ Rich Medina, Slum Village, and DJ Breakbeat Lou.
Luckily, thanks to the help of dear friend and colleague, Edwina Hay, I was able to get a very quick portrait of Slum Village just after they finished their set.
