Survival Knife is a new band featuring Justin Trosper (guitar/vocals) and Brandt Sandeno (guitar) from Unwound, as well as Meg Cunningham (bass/vocals) from Blues Druid and Kris Cunningham (drums) from Western Hymn. Sub Pop Records is releasing the band’s first 7" single, “Traces of Me,” with “Name That Tune” as the B-side on March 5th. “Name That Tune” simply kicks ass – and it’s a perfect way to start off a Monday morning if you’re a cubicle commando. It has that scuzzy Northwestern rock sound that we’ve all grown to love.
