The now-London-based quartet Splashh got their start when the New Zealand-born Sasha Carlson (vocals and guitar) and the Australian-born Toto Vivian (guitar, keyboards and backing vocals) met while on vacation. The duo bounded over their mutual love of music and traveling and they eventually moved to London. And in London, the duo of Carlson and Vivian met Thomas Beal and Jacob Moore, and they were enlisted to help flesh out a sound that’s heavily inspired by 80s psych rock and 90s grunge rock – fuzzy, distorted guitars, catchy hooks and melodies, etc. Interestingly, “All I Wanna Do,” the latest single from the band’s full-length debut, Comfort reminds me quite a bit of the Stone Roses
