Time Stays, We Go! is the fourth full-length release from the Veils, and the first album released by the band in over four years; the highly anticipated album was produced by lead singer/songwriter Finn Andrews and Adam Greenspan (he’s worked with the likes of Divine Fits and Arcade Fire), and then mixed to tape by Bill Price, the producer for the Clash and the Jesus and Mary Chain to mix the masters to analog tape. Apparently, the band tempted Price out of retirement to assist them …

“The Pearl” is the first single from the album, and the track has a somber, delicate beauty which comes from a deceptively simple melody and Andrews’ expressive croon.

Shot in a gorgeous, cinematic black and white at famed Abbey Road Studios in London, the video captures the band performing “The Pearl” live.
