Although it was initially released in 2011, Superhuman Happiness‘ The Physical EP ranked in the top 20 of this site’s Best of 2012 list, and much like Caveman, the release of their forthcoming full length Hands through Royal Potato Family Records on March 5th. 

But back in 2011, the members of Superhuman Happiness collaborated with Cults for their rendition of Caetano Veloso’“Um Canto De Afoxé Para O Bloco De Ilê (Ilê Ayê)“ for the AIDS benefit album, Red Hot & Rio 2. The Juan Maclean went and remixed their collaboration – meshing the sweaty funk and rhythms of Brazil with slick production of electronica. It’s Brazil via Brooklyn or Brooklyn via Brazil.
