As a rapper, Juiceboxxx has collaborated with G-Side, Spank Rock, JEFF the Brotherhood and Japanther. He’s even toured with Big Freedia and Public Enemy. In fact, Public Enemy’s Chuck D has been quite complimentary of Juiceboxxx, referring to the young rapper as the Buddy Holly of hip hop – whether that’s fair or not is up to debate, but it’s an impressive comparison.

Last year, Juiceboxxx released his debut album, I Don’t Want to Go Into the Darkness and “LIke a Renegade” is the album’s second single, and once you hear it, it should remind you of Rick Rubin’s production style – in other words you should hear License to Ill-era Beastie Boys and of Jay Z’s “99 Problems.” However, lyrically, Juiceboxxx will probably remind you in tone, style and content of a young Eminem
