Boston Fielder and his band Muthawit have played with the likes of Spoek Mathambo, MF Doom, the Shins, Jneiro Jarel, and others. Their latest effort, PMS Junkie – PMS is actually an acronym for Pre Military Strike, as well as others – recently came out, and is a satirical look into modern society, and the constant news cycle. “Generation Divide (More, More)” is the latest single and sonically it sounds quite a bit like Sly and the Family Stone/Cee-Lo Green mixed with Fishbone. It’s soulful and it kicks ass.

You can check Muthawit out live tomorrow night, as they have a special late night set at the Blue Note
