Brooklyn-based trio Dead Stars sound has been compared to 90s stalwarts such as Dinosaur, Jr., Sonic Youth, Pavement, and the Foo Fighters – after all, we’re talking about scuzzy power chords fed through layers of feedback, melodic vocals and catchy hooks. It brings memories of watching 120 MInutes on MTV back in the day but with a modern production style similar to the Silversun Pickups. You can hear that on their latest single, “Fractured." 

The band will be releasing a new EP, High Gain on June 4th, and they’ll be playing several live shows to support it including a 5/27 set at Piano’s and their release show on 6/7 at the Grand Victory.
