Comprised of brothers Brayden and Camron Ward, and high school classmates Tim Hatch and Lauren Curtius, the Los Angeles area-based the Lovely Bad Things once crowdfunded their way to an encore performance at the Primavera Sound Festival. Their new album, The Late Great Whatever was reportedly named during a dream suggested by a spirit guide who looked a lot like Dinosaur Jr.’s drummer Murph. Yeah, seriously… In any case, Volcom Entertainment will be releasing their new album on February 26th.

The band will be playing a month long residency at the famed L.A. venue, the Echo before hitting SXSW. But before that, the band released the first single from The Late Great Whatever, titled “Fried Eyes.” The track is reminiscent of the Pixies – one of the band’s biggest influences.
