Dinosaur Bones‘ debut effort My Divider landed at number 16 on this site’s Best of 2011 list, thanks in part to indie rock songs that managed to possess a complex nature with songs comprised of several different segments, often employing time signature changes – but in an approachable fashion. 

“Pacifist in Camouflage” is the latest single and video off the Canadian band’s sophomore effort, Shaky Dream, From the singles i’ve heard, the album represents a change in sonic direction for the band. The material is brooding and atmospheric, and has an underlying anxiousness. 

The video is shot in a gorgeous and very cinematic black and white that makes me envy the folks who shot it.
