“Disco Queen,” off the Dallas, TX-based act Ishi’s forthcoming album, Digital Wounds which Internal Records will release on April 9th is an incredibly funky and slickly produced track reminiscent of Chromeo, AVAN LAVA, Hercules and Love Affair and others – complete with the naughty come on lines, too. The song is just fucking infectious and the official video which was recently released is ridiculously bright, goofy and at times pretty sexy.
