French musician Yann Tiersen’s career has been split studio albums, collaborations and soundtracks with a variety of instruments including guitar, synthesizer, violin, toy piano, xylophone, a typewriter (used as an instrument) as well as others. While busily creating a live score for each of the five films of the Fantomas film series, he composed this track, “Janet” for an upcoming film score. Interestingly, the track has the eerie coolness and charm heard in some of Marco Benevento’s work.
