Fronted by siblings, Robert and Rachel Kolar, the quintet of He’s My Brother She’s My SIster have won quite  bit of attention for a sound that’s happily genre-defying. In some way, this live footage of “The Same Old Ground” from The Late Late Show with Colin Ferguson may remind you of acts like Superhuman Happiness and Rubblebucket. He’s My Brother, She’s My Sister’s sound employs funk but it has the twang of old school rock and country. Still, it’s a fun song that will make you get up and dance – and on a Monday, I think we all need that.
Having performed at this year’s BonnarooAustin City Limits and Firefly Festival  and shared stages with Jack White, Wilco, the Black Keys, Alabama Shakes, Florence and the Machine and others, the band will be touring to support their critically applauded debut, Nobody Dances in This Town, which Park the Van Records released last fall. The tour will include stops in Boulder, CO; Aspen, CO; Denver, CO; San Diego, CA; Tucson, AZ; Flagstaff, AZ; Tempe, AZ; Dallas, TX; San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA; the Bowery Ballroom, and others.
