Hailing form London, UK and  Oxford, UK respectively Luca Santucci and Ben Fitzgerald, a.k.a Stubborn Heart got a lot of attention last year for a then unidentified white label 12,“ followed by the Need Someone EP which was released over the summer by Kaya Kaya Records, an imprint of XL Records. Their eponymous, self-titled debut will be released by One Little Indian Records on March 5th in the States. 

The first single from their debut effort, "Need Someone” expresses plaintively urgent, aching heartbreak behind sputtering and skittering beats and chiming synths. The aching hurt behind the song seems reminiscent of Radiohead’s beautiful, “Morning Bell” off Kid A, and a little bit of the Presets.
