James Chapman, who records and performs under the moniker of Maps, will be releasing his latest effort Vicissitude on June 25 through Mute Records. A.M.A., the latest single from the new effort, starts out with thumping drums before you start to hear shimmering synths and Chapman’s plaintive vocals. In some way, it reminds me a little bit of St. Lucia.
