Earlier this year, the legendary Chicago-based bluesman Buddy Guy announced that he’d retiring from major touring — at 87. Of course, that meant one last major tour that the legend jokingly dubbed “Damn Right, Farewell.” The tour included a stop at Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage earlier this year that featured openers Chrisone “Kingfish” Ingram and Samantha Fish.

It was a great night of blues. Buddy Guy was as entertaining and as feisty as ever. Chrisone “Kingfish” Ingram and Samantha Fish are both budding superstars in the making, who y’all need to catch.
