Earlier this year, I caught acclaimed California-based psych soul outfit and JOVM mainstays Monophonics, led by Kelly Finnigan, play a set of crowd-pleasing old school-inspired soul at a packed Brooklyn Bowl that included material off two of my favorite albums It’s Only Us and Sage Motel, as well as In Your Brain and Sound of Sinning.
Chicago-based Latin psych rock unit Dos Santos opened up the night with an explosive and passionate set. Photos from the show are below.
