If you’ve been following over the past month or so, it has been an incredibly busy; in fact, I’d say that the past month has arguably been the busiest in JOVM‘s history, as I’ve covered Northside Festival, New Music Seminar’s New Music Nights Festival, several Summerstage shows and a number of individual shows across the city — and as you can imagine there’s still plenty of work left to do. Early last month, I caught the incredible Rabbi Darkside perform songs off his Prospect Avenue, and newer material with members of The Lesson as part of his backing band at the world renowned The Blue Note, as part of their annual Blue Note Jazz Festival.
