Matt Preston, a.k.a., Phaeleh, the acclaimed Bristol, UK-based released his sophomore effort, Tides earlier this year. The new effort continues Phaeleh’s reputation for crafting an electronica that has an icy sheen, while being incredibly cinematic. it often sounds as though it should be the part of a soundtrack of a futuristic thriller with supernatural creatures – perhaps vampires fighting werewolves or something like that. “Storm” is the latest single off the album, and it features Jess Mills’ ethereal cooing. Much like “Whistling in the Dark,‘ which featured Augustus Ghost of Snow Ghosts, "Storm” is reminiscent of Massive Attack and Portishead — but percussive and with a subtle anxiously.

The video is a gorgeously shot, cinematic black and white that video that would have most photographers and videographers jealous.

Preston will be making a North American tour that will include a September 20th stop at GlasslandsWashington, DCMontreal, QCPhiladelphia, PAToronto, ONChicago, ILSeattle, WAVancouver, BCPortland, OR; and others.
