New York-based band Triple Hex have developed a reputation for writing songs that have a gritty, sleazy feel – like listening to their latest single “Winter” reminds me of the great dive bars I used to hang out and the music they would play in them. I think of Siberia, Sophie’s, the Nancy Whiskey Pub, the Library and others … Ah, memories! 

The band’s got two shows coming up – an October 1st set at the Flat, in Brooklyn, and an October 17th CMJ set at Piano’s.
