Connecticut’s biggest music festival Sound On Sound has been reborn under a new name Soundside Music Festival, alongside promoters C3 Presents, who are known for their work with Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza, Sea.Hear.Now, Governor’s Ball and many other festivals.
Soundside continues the Sound On Sound experience and feel with its unique rotating single-stage set up paired with gourmet food options from some of the state’s and surrounding local area’s best establishments, including PopUp Bagels, The Gotham Burger Social Club, Grumpy Dumpling Co., 29 Markle Ct., The Blind Rhino, Walter’s Hot Dogs, a curated selection of cocktails, craft beer and wine options and much more. The complete food and beverage lineup offerings will be announced at a later date. So be on the look out y’all.
C3 Presents just announced the lineup for the inaugural Soundside Music Festival which will take place along the banks of the Long Island Sound at Bridgeport, CT‘s Seaside Park on September 28, 2024 – September 29, 2024. Grammy-nominated, New Englander Noah Kahan will be headlining the festival’s first day on Saturday, September 28. Foo Fighters, the best rock band in the entire fucking world will headline on Sunday, September 29. Along with two those titans, festival-goers will be able to catch 20 sets from acclaimed and chart-topping acts like Queens of the Stone Age, Goo Goo Dolls, Teddy Swims, Fleet Foxes, Norah Jones, Boyz II Men, Gregory Alan Isakov, Grace Potter, JOVM mainstays The Kills, Lisa Loeb and Nine Stories and more. “I am very excited that Bridgeport is once again the host to this year’s Soundside Music Festival, formally known as Sound On Sound,” Bridgeport, CT’s Mayor Joe Ganim says. “In past years, this festival has drawn in over 50,000 visitors. I am sure this year it will again draw tens of thousands who will get to experience all that Bridgeport has to offer. This is another example of how Bridgeport is ‘on the move’ as we strengthen our legacy of being the music and entertainment capital of Connecticut.”
Fans can sign up now for the SMS presale, which will take place on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 10:00AM-Noon ET. You have to sign up for a presale passcode to secure your spot. This is the only way to guarantee getting tickets at the lowest price.
All ticket prices will increase at Noon on Thursday when the public on-sale begins. Ticket prices are all-inclusive and there’s no obnoxious additional fees or that other bullshit. Of course, ticket offerings include what you’d expect these days: General Admission, GA+, VIP and Skydeck. All ticket types offer 1-Day and 2-Day options. And parking will be available for purchase for those who are driving to the festival site.
