Created by Patrick Brink, the frontman of VOLUME and former frontman of legendary desert rock outfit Fu Manchu, the inaugural Mojave Experience will take place March 20, 2026 – March 21, 2026 at Joshua Tree, CA‘s Joshua Tree Lake and Campground. Attendees are encouraged to make use of the camping, hiking and rock climbing of the area, while taking in the vast beauty and mystery of the region that helped create and inspire the Desert Rock movement.
The Mojave won’t be a backdrop. It’ll be a raw, unfiltered stage where music, art and chaos collide. As its founder and organizing team firmly believe, the harsh and surreal beauty of the desert strips away everything fake, and leaves what’s real behind.
Mojave Experience was inspired by and born from that spirit. It won’t be yet another sanitized festival in a city park or a fairground, it’s specifically a gathering for wild ones, wanderers, and true believers, who know that the desert doesn’t hand out comfort, only freedom.
So no, there won’t be velvet ropes. No corporate gloss and bullshit. Just artists, misfits and seekers meeting in the desert for a weekend that they won’t forget.
The inaugural festival will be feature legends in explorative and countercultural music, as well as up-and-coming outfits who are out there making waves right now.
